Donations Policy

Important Note: All donations made to Rakshan Foundation are non-refundable under normal circumstances.

In the event of an erroneous transaction or if you have specific concerns regarding your donation, please contact us at support@rakshanfoundation.org within 48 hours of the transaction.

Valid Reasons for Refund

  • Duplicate transaction
  • Incorrect amount deducted
  • Technical error from payment gateway
  • Unauthorized transaction

Non-Refundable Situations

  • Change of mind after donation
  • Donation made to wrong cause
  • After 48 hours of transaction

How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:

Send an email to support@rakshanfoundation.org within 48 hours of the transaction.

Clearly state the reason for your refund request and provide:

  • Transaction ID / Order Number
  • Donation amount and date
  • Payment method used (UPI, Card, NetBanking, etc.)
  • Detailed description of the issue
  • Screenshot of transaction (if available)

Our team will verify your request and contact you within 3-5 business days regarding the status.

Processing of Refunds

Timeline

Once your refund request is received and approved, we will process the refund within:

14 business days

*Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Refund Method

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction:

  • UPI → Refund to same UPI ID
  • Credit/Debit Card → Refund to same card
  • NetBanking → Refund to same bank account
  • Cash/Cheque → Refund via cheque/DD

Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email once your refund has been processed successfully.
